This success would not be possible without the commitment and thoroughness of the laboratory team, who ensure the correct application of the standards in every test, according to the strictest regulations. 📜 According to Royal Decree 2319/2004, it is mandatory that all newly manufactured containers are tested in certified laboratories accredited under ISO 17025.
At Equimodal, we comply with this legal requirement, guaranteeing that each container complies with safety and legality regulations, both for our designs and those of third parties.
🔍What really sets us apart from other manufacturers is our ability to apply test results directly to the design of new containers. This data integration not only optimizes our processes, but also ensures safe functionality, handling and transport. The laboratory is one of the main tools Equimodal has to ensure that our products exceed quality and safety standards. 🔧 In our laboratory, we perform tests under international standards such as ISO 1496, CSC, UIC 592, IRS 50592 and UNE EN-283, verifying that each container meets the resistance and safety standards necessary for safe transportation. An outstanding example is the stacking test, in this test, we subject the containers to a load equivalent to 1.8 times the maximum gross weight for which it is designed. In the case of testing under ISO 1496 Standard, a container must withstand a force on its posts of up to 213,360 kg, this test simulates the extreme conditions that the containers will face during transport and storage.
